When a wedding photographer contacts you about photographing her and her new husband while on their honeymoon you get excited! It’s always an incredible honor to photograph another photographer and this one was extra special! Aoife and Brendan came all the way from Dublin, Ireland to spend their honeymoon in Mexico! I was in Ireland a year ago and absolutely loved it! The rugged terrain, crashing waves, incredible people and music. It was a magical trip! After spending so much time in the sun, humidity and heat, you really have an appreciation for clouds, rain and wind! BUT…when you live in that climate, you crave sun and warmth…thus, Aoife and Brendan’s decision to head to Mexico on their honeymoon!

Aoife wanted to capture an authentic feel to their destination honeymoon photos, so we headed to centro where the colorful and historic wooden buildings and fishing boats are. We walked around, in and out of side streets, as I captured fun and casual photos of this wonderful couple.
