Mayan Beach Club Wedding | Isla Mujeres Wedding Photographer | Hazel + Jim

Hazel and Jim came a very, very long way to have their destination wedding at the Mayan Beach Club on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres. Across the ‘pond’ if you will…all the way from the United Kingdom and they brought their family and friends with them!

They choose Isla Mujeres for their destination wedding because it was Hazel’s mom’s favorite place and when they visited last year, they also fell in love with it.

I started my day joining Jim and his guys. We took photos of them enjoying cervezas in the garden at NautiBeach Condos. I then joined Hazel and the girls for some getting ready photos. Hazel and Jim have the cutest little twins! They were so happy and just adorable!!!

They had a wonderful ceremony on the beach at Mayan Beach Club with the incredible blues of the Caribbean Sea as their backdrop. A mariachi band started on their first kiss and played through cocktail hour as the drinks flowed and hugs of congrats were passed around.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, they had one made of Churros which was a huge hit with their guests. An amazing fire dancer show wowed everyone and then the dance floor opened up and started to rock! Everyone was out and dancing up a storm!

It was an amazing destination wedding for this wonderful couple and I was super excited I was there to capture it all for them!
