Isla Mujeres Marriage Proposal | Cancun Marriage Proposal | Jarell + Nikki

Jarell and Nikki got engaged in Mexico and I was there to photograph this incredibly heart-filled marriage proposal on Isla Mujeres! Jarell and Nikki have been together since high school! Fast forward 13 years to November 19…the day that changed Nikki’s life!

Jarell contacted me a few weeks back and told me he wanted to propose while on vacation in Mexico. They were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun, but in his search for the perfect spot to propose, he came across my website and photos of Punta Sur, the south point of Isla Mujeres. He knew that this would be the perfect location for his destination marriage proposal to Nikki.

As he had never been to Mexico or the island before, I provided Jarell with a detailed document that spelled out everything he needed to know about getting to the island and “The Spot”.

The proposal went off without a hitch! Nikki was soooo surprised! She never thought it was going to happen in Mexico….”I didn’t think he would bring an expensive ring to Mexico!” It was the perfect destination. The perfect location. For the perfect couple!

I could not be happier for Jarell and Nikki! High school sweethearts who are still crazy about each other after 13 years! Congratulations you two and happy 30th birthday, Nikki!!!
