Isla Mujeres Marriage Proposal | Engagement Session | Sean + Stacey

Sean and Stacey are engaged!!! Sean contacted me a month ago and shared that he was going to propose to his girlfriend when they were vacationing in Mexico. They were staying in Cancun at the Hyatt Zilara and had really liked the images I showed on my website of Punta Sur on Isla Mujeres. Neither of them had been to the island before, but I told him not to worry as I would give him a step-by-step document that would spell everything out he needed to know. The plan was then hatched!

Fast forward to two days ago, Friday, February 21, the day that changed their lives forever! They came over by ferry then hopped in a taxi and headed to the south side of the island. The skies were threatening to rain, but it held off for the entire time we needed!

Sean got down on one knee at the lookout point above the Caribbean Sea. The many looks on Stacey’s face were priceless…all of which I captured from a distance in secret. Once the ‘big moment’ was done, I introduced myself and told Stacey we were now going to do their engagement session. Stacey was beyond excited…she was walking on a cloud!

As we walked around and took photos, I got to know this wonderful couple more. They have been together three years and it looked like they had just started dating. Their love was so rich, so strong! I couldn’t be happier for this incredible couple!

After our time at Punta Sur, we hopped in my golf cart and headed to Mar Bella for beach and sunset photos before they sat down to a wonderful dinner.
