Isla Mujeres Marriage Proposal and Engagement Photography | Cancun Wedding Proposal | Cole + Kaitlynn

An email came through from Cole sharing with me that he wanted to surprise his girlfriend, Kaitlynn, with a marriage proposal on Isla Mujeres. They were coming to Mexico from Nebraska on vacation and were staying at the Fiesta Americana Condesa, an all-inclusive in Cancun. When I wrote him back, I explained that I would provide very detailed, step by step instructions on how to get to the island and to the spot he choose for the actual proposal. He wanted to stay on the island for dinner and requested a spot on the beach where they could watch sunset and I suggested Mayan Beach Club.

Well the surprise went off flawlessly and Kaitlynn was genuinely in shock…in the best of ways! She was soooo surprised and I caught all her changing emotions on film. After the big I DO, I introduced myself to Kaitlynn and explained that Cole had arranged the whole thing and that we were now going to do their enagement photos.

It was an incredibly special day and I couldn’t have been happier for this wonderful couple as they start the next chapter of their lives together.
