Isla Mujeres Elopement | Isla Mujeres Intimate Wedding | Kim + Brandt

It’s couples like Kim and Brandt that make me absolutely love photographing elopements and intimate weddings on Isla Mujeres!

When I arrived at Paradise Suites, where the happy couple were staying, I first encountered the groom steaming the bride’s dress. How cute is that! Brandt then helped Kim put her wedding dress on. There is something incredibly intimate, sweet and wonderful about that!! They still wanted to do a ‘first look’ which we did by this incredible mangrove tree on the grounds of Paradise Suites which was a magical place.

We then jumped in a taxi and headed to my ‘happy place’ on the island…Punta Sur, the south point of Isla Mujeres. The waves were hitting pretty big this day which made for some really majestic photos!

After our session at Punta Sur, we headed to Su Casa where they were going to have their intimate wedding. They guests consisted of both sets of parents who were fabulous couples themselves! We had some champagne before the ceremony as we waited for the sun to drop a bit lower in the sky. Their ceremony was as sweet and tender as their love for each other.

I couldn’t be happy for you both, Kim and Brandt! It was an honor to photograph your intimate wedding on Isla Mujeres!
