Isla Mujeres Marriage Proposal and Engagement Photography | Mataya + Zeb

Zeb and Mataya got engaged on Isla Mujeres!!! Zeb contacted me almost a month ago saying he wanted to propose to his girlfriend and best friend Mataya and wanted to do so while on vacation on Mexico’s Isla Mujeres. He wish was to propose by the sea because they are water people so I told him I had the perfect place! We developed a secret plan of action that incorporated me secretively photographing the proposal by the sea. After the big “I DO” we headed to the south point for photos around the cliffs and sea walk of Punta Sur. After the south point, we went to Mar Bella where we finished up with beach and sunset photos. Zeb and Mataya then stayed for a romantic dinner and cocktails to celebrate this new adventure together.

I couldn’t be happier for this incredible couple and it was my honor to photograph their destination marriage proposal and engagement photos on Isla Mujeres!
