Isla Mujeres Maternity Photography | Taryn + John

No words can describe the incredible joy when you find out you are pregnant. The next best thing is telling the ones you love the fabulous news! Taryn and John’s Isla Photo Tour was more than just fun vacation photos, but they will be using these images to tell those people who are dear to them the wonderful news that they will be having a baby!!

We started their Isla Photo Tour at Punta Sur and no sooner than we got about 1/3 of the way out to the point, then this wall of water quickly approached spilling buckets of rain. Luckily, we were able to out run it back to the main building where we stayed until the dark, gloomy sky turned to puffy white clouds with an incredible rainbow. We started back out to the point and made our way down to the seawalk just in time for another round of storm clouds and rain to hit. This time, we took shelter under an overhang of volcanic rock and waited it out. The skies cleared again and when we walked out and looked out over the ocean, we saw a sea turtle. My first sighting of the season – yippee!!! We lost some time due to the rain, but we were able to catch an incredible sunset. We met up again a few days later to finish their session with stops at the historic buildings in centro and at the colorful fishing boats. With a “baby on board” sign, we finished up their photo session with hugs all around.
