LGBTQ Isla Mujeres Wedding | Zama Beach Club | Ash + Lane

I just returned from my last destination wedding of the winter season on Isla Mujeres in Mexico a few weeks back and I’m so excited to share it with you! It was in celebration of the love between two incredible, funny and absolutely in love women – Ash and Lane. The day started with me meeting up with Ash in her suite at Privilege Aluexes, another wonderful wedding venue on Isla Mujeres. Ash and Lane had their “first look” on the property and then we headed out for an island photographic tour. After a short stop at the colorful fishing boats, we jumped in  a taxi and headed to Punta Sur, the cliffs at the south side of Isla Mujeres. We then headed back to Centro and met up with the wedding party and had a great time taking photos around the colorful and historic buildings on Isla.

Ash and Lane’s destination wedding took place at Zama Beach Club, one of my favorite venues on the island! Their celebration was spectacular and full of laughter and love. They surprised their guests with fire dancers followed by a fire lamp release. This was my first experience photographing a fire lamp release and it was a magical experience. The lite lamps floated up into the dark sky right towards the moon!
