Isla Mujeres Wedding Proposal | Cancun Marriage Proposal | Hailey + Dennis

Dennis contacted me several weeks back about his plans to propose marriage to Hailey. They would be staying at an all-inclusive in Cancun, but Dennis’ research on the perfect location to pop the question was on Isla Mujeres. When we chatted, he had the vision of what he wanted and it was so romantic! This was their first time in Mexico together so the trip was special already, but Hailey’s life was going to change oh so much more after their day trip to Isla Mujeres!

They took the ferry over to the island and grabbed a taxi out to Punta Sur. They walked out to the end of the south point, down the stone stairs and out to the lookout point. As Hailey was looking out over the deep blue Caribbean Sea videoing the incredible view, Dennis got down on one knee. As she turned, she saw him down on one knee and kept taping (how fun to have that little snippet)! The look on her face as she realized what she was witnessing was priceless. Pure love. Pure happiness. As I photographed this incredible moment from a far location, the waves of joy they were feeling spilled over onto me. What an amazing couple!

After the big “I Do”, I introduced myself to them and told Hailey that Dennis had contacted me to photograph his wedding proposal so they would have incredible photos to relive the moment as often as they would like! We then did a short photo session at Punta Sur. We ended with a ride in my golf cart to Playa Norte, the island’s incredible north beach. They had a celebratory drink before sitting at their romantic table in the sand to eat an incredible dinner at Mayan Beach Club while watching a fabulous sunset.

Congratulations Dennis and Hailey! I am so happy for you both!
