Isla Mujeres Wedding | Zama Beach Club | Ta + Addison

Ta and Addison held their destination wedding on Mexico’s Isla Mujeres and I couldn’t be more excited for them! These two are very special people to me. I’ve know them and Addison’s family for years and was thrilled to be their wedding photographer! What an incredible celebration! Their original date was in October of last year, but because of COVID, they moved it to April. The festivities were a blast with a fabulous welcome celebration at Guru’s the night before their beautiful wedding at Zama Beach Club the next day. The decor was absolutely breathtaking, thanks to Jana of the Barefoot Planners. She made sure everything was perfect!

In the morning of their wedding day, I met up with the happy couple at Casa Mayaland, where they were getting ready. I first joined Ta and then Addison before they had their ‘first look’ on the grounds. We then jumped in a taxi and headed to Punta Sur for some photos around the cliffs and crashing waves. We then got to Zama just in time for me to capture their guests arriving to signature cocktails in coconuts and pineapples.

Their ceremony, which was held under the upper pergola, was officiated by Addison’s sister, Jamille. I love when couple’s choose someone special to officiate! After the beautiful ceremony, all the guests joined the happy couple on the dock for a group photo. So many loved ones joined Ta and Addison…it was an incredible turnout!

The evenings festivities was a blast with wonderful toasts, fire dancers, a churros truck and lots….LOTS of dancing! The wedding and reception was truly magical and I couldn’t be happier for this fabulous couple!
