Playa Lancheros Wedding | Isla Mujeres | Mia + Shafqat

What an incredible destination wedding Mia and Shafqat had on Isla Mujeres! Their ceremony and reception took place at the private beach club of Playa Lancheros. My time with this fabulous couple started with getting ready photos at Privilege Aluxes, a bouquet hotel on Playa Norte. The bride had a special ‘first look’ with her dad that made me cry. Their bond is so moving and beautiful! Mia and Shaf then had a non-first look, where they touched but did not look into each other’s eyes. Mia wanted Shaf’s first look of her to be when she walked down the aisle.

There ceremony site was on the sand among a grove of palm trees as the sun set over the Caribbean Sea. Their officiant was Mia’s grandfather which made it that much more sweet.
