Marybeth and Jeff were married at Zama Beach Club on Isla Mujeres surrounded by their family and friends. Before their celebration began, I meet them at Privilege Aluxes on north beach for getting ready photos. Marybeth was surrounded by her girls all in fun colorful robes. With champagne in hand, we went to the roof for a quick toast before everyone dressed. I then met Jeff and his guys down at the beach bar to capture them relaxing and hanging out before things got going.
It took many taxi’s several trips to bring all 135 guests over to Zama Beach Club for their wedding! As guests arrives, they were met with a choice between a cold beer and a margarita. As the sun started to set, everyone sat in their seats for the ceremony. Marybeth and Jeff’s dear family friend Lisa performed the ceremony. After they shared their vows, everyone made their way over to the dock for a group photo while mariachi’s played in the background. Their dinner was held on the beach under twinkle lights and their father’s toasts were so sweet and wonderful! The happy couple surprised their guests with fire dancers and then the dance floor opened up. What a fun dancing group it was!
I feel blessed to be a destination wedding photographer on the beautiful Mexican island of Isla Mujeres!
