Rachel and Alejandro are a fabulous couple and their friends and family are all amazing as well! It was an incredible day for their destination wedding on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres. I first met up with Rachel and her bridesmaids at Ixchel Beach Hotel where she was getting ready. Rachel and Alejandro didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but they did want to pray together so I arranged a special spot for them to hold hands (but not see each other). I then joined Alejandro and the guests as they walked to the dock where their boat departed for Zama Beach Club.
Their ceremony was so special with Rachel’s dad officiating. So touching. So sweet. The mariachis’ started when the couple had their first kiss which kicked off the festivities. All of their guests joined them on the dock for a big group photo as the mariachis sang in the background and the cocktails were passed around.
The dance floor that evening was INCREDIBLE!!!! It was so fabulous to see so many amazing salsa dancers as well. I’m so happy for Rachel and Alejandro!
